ProveForecast is operated by Klarite Pty Ltd (ABN 79 622 385 997), based in Western Australia. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We collect: (a) Account information: your email address and password hash when you register; (b) Usage data: screening inputs you submit (survey parameters, coordinates, notes), results generated, and session activity; (c) Billing information: handled entirely by Stripe; we do not store card details; (d) Technical data: IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and debugging purposes.
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; send transactional emails (screening results, account notifications); process payments via Stripe; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data is stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases hosted on AWS infrastructure in the Sydney region (ap-southeast-2). We use row-level security to ensure you can only access your own data. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Authentication tokens are short-lived JWTs. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
We use the following sub-processors: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (frontend hosting), Railway (backend hosting). Each operates under its own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@proveforecast.com. We will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests will result in permanent removal of your account and associated screening history.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use localStorage to store your authentication session token client-side. This is strictly necessary for the Service to function and does not require consent under Australian law.
Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months after cancellation or last activity, after which it is deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance.
